in response to growing need for software security, IT giant Microsoft will soon launch it’s very own anti-virus application, Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE).
the beta (test) is scheduled to be available on june 23 in Brazil, Israel and the United States (later in the year for the other countries).
what’s kewlest about this is it’s free!
“Cost and performance barriers prevent many consumers from using up-to-date security software to protect their PCs,” Microsoft said in a statement.
Microsoft’s has always been plagued with threats and hence this serves a welcome development for everyone!
