People work longer hours during pandemic
We may all have gotten used now to getting up five minutes before a meeting with face unwashed and still on our pj’s since COVID19 pandemic hit and forced most of us to stay put and work from home. Perhaps in the beginning it felt that working from home is going to be fun – long lunch hours, binge-watching Netflix while working on the side… eight months later however, a study says people work longer hours now than before

The office for National Statistics reports that people around the world are working for longer, on average, than they did before the pandemic. Daily commutes have now been replaced by endless emails and video conference meetings. According to a survey by PwC, a consulting firm, 44% of American bosses think that their employees have become more productive during the pandemic, but only 28% of workers agree.
